Wined and Dined March 2011

Word comes in today that Midtown East beer bar The Stag’s Head (252 E. 51st St nr 2nd Ave) will be celebrating Mardi Gras tomorrow evening with New Orleans food and beer pairings. They’ll be serving up some Fried Okra with Cajun Remoulade paired with Abita S.O.S., beer-poached shrimp & grits paired with the Abita Red, Seafood Beignets paired with the Golden Ale, Chicken Etoufee with Andygator and Oyster Po’ Boys served with Turbodog. They’ll also have Abita’s Black IPA on draft and possibly their Harvest Strawberry, too. The apps will range from $6-$10 and the main courses will both be around $15.
